Questions on the NECG bands/front sight in the white?

Does this mean that you have to have the whole barreled action reblued? Or just the band blued?

What heat is needed to get these onto the barrel?

Or better yet, what is the best way to get these on?

Anyone know where to get tritium sights for rifles? Or can the pistol one be fittewd somehow?

This is for a .338 wm & .458 Lott

Thanks

Jerry

You can blue them before applying and glue them on with Acraglass or another epoxy or you can silver solder them on. They won't come off with epoxy.

I like to heat mine up with a torch and tap them on with a board, they strech 5k real easy and won't come off. I have one epoxied on also. Just buy one a few thou shy and heat it up and tap it on, just make sure its straight, when it cools, it aint comming off.

If you Acraglas it on, it will never come off short of heating the gun up with a torch.

Heating the actual sight is another approach and can be just as permanent, just look at the sights on the 1917s.
