Last year I saw that Wisners had new manufactured, right handed bolts for sale for the 788. I broke the handle off of my left handed 788 a couple of years ago and Wisners fixed it better than new. I'm just glad that they could fix mine for the sentimental value, I bought it in 1975 and it was my first centerfire rifle.

if my 308 mod 788 ever gives me to much trouble i will let you know . it has been a pain in the a$$ but i do belive i will get it to shoot 1 moa sooner or later . good luck with your search .Bob
