Have been taking a look at the CZ site, specifically the 550. Note that some have a "Single Set Trigger". Just wondering how this works. I am familiar with the operation of the double set trigger.

Normal operation is just like a standard trigger, for "set" operation you push the trigger forward to set it. To "unset" the CZ trigger you put the safity on and pull the trigger or you can open the bolt and pull the trigger if you prefer.

Thanks One more question. Is the CZ trigger adjustable -in either the standard mode or set trigger mode of operation.

Both. Normal: 3 screws if you remove stock. Very good advice in manual. Set: screw out bottom of trigger. My advice: adjust normal trigger ( start with trigger travel, thats the screw without lock nut ) and forget about the set feature. Trigger is excellent and versatile, but the set variant is nothing compared to a Steyrs or double trigger set trigger. Hermann ------------------

I agree with Eldeguello in that a double set trigger is the best of all triggers and I especially like it for running shots. When set, you merely touch it when the sights are right on your running game and he will do flip flops..... ------------------
