I was working on my R 700 yesterday, while walking through a door, I caught the trigger somehow, and it broke off.

Only the cast metal trigger, the internal parts are fine.

Anybody know where I can get another "trigger?"

Terry,

I have a bin full of them. Mail or call me. I don't go back to work until Wednesday.

You will want to check and verify the fit of the connector and trigger body in relationship to one another to insure the vertical rise (Connector Float) of the connector does not exceed the amount of sear lift on the sear safety cam with the safety in the on safe position also note the fit of the trigger body in the housing latterly!

Caution must be exercised when driving the pins in and out of the housing, in that you must be careful not to distort the side plates of the housing and create a situation that may cause a failure of the trigger to fully retract to the sear support position or a condition that would intermittently play havoc with your sear engagement if the trigger should (Even slightly) rub the side plates of the housing when attempting to capture the sear when cycling the action and verify that the connector returns fully to the trigger body, if not could be very very bad news...

When testing the function of the trigger/connectors ability to reliably capture and hold the sear securely, use a soft rubber mallet on the bottom of the stock or trigger guard, muzzle, butt and top of receiver to ensure the integrity of the repair and system, IMHO, simply dropping the rifle on the butt would lend one to a false sense of security as to the reliability of the system...

The test I would consider to be the most conclusive would be the impact test to the bottom of the action/stock! FWIW...
