How hard would it be to convert an A-Bolt from DBM to a regular floorplate with spring & follower??

Strut, some of the smith's here should be able to tell you, but I wonder why you want to? I think the DBM is a much better mousetrap anyway--plenty of military rifles, maybe damn near all-- and maybe the ultimate test of a rifles functionality--are DBM's

Reason I want to is for the capacity to seat bullets out farther. Had my A-Bolt re-chambered to .375 Wby. The box mag. only allows me to seat bullets out to 3.585"-3.600" (one mag has larger inside dimensions......go figger????). I believe this may rob me of some valuable powder capacity when seating long bullets like the Accu.Bond, a 300 gr. boat-tail or the TSX's.

I don't own an abolt, but I do have an old BBR, couldnt you lengthen the magazine box, we do it on mausers all the time.
