Can someone explain, to me, the process of surface grinding an action? Is it done on a lathe w/ grinder attachment? I saw some surface ground actions F/S in the classified area and they really looked good. I have a VZ 24 that would really benefit from this. Does anyone here offer this service? If so what is the cost? What about the serial number, do most people engrave the same number back or can you assign your own "custom" number?
