I have recently picked up a couple of Mauser 96 rifles that are short a few pieces. They both need bolts. What I am wondering is do any parts beside the stripped bolt body itself interchange with parts from a 93-95 mauser? I am assuming at least an extractor collar would but don't know that for sure. Also, what about floorplates, ejectors, or triggers? Lastly where is the best place to look for parts for these Swedish mausers? It seems most everyone sells parts for the 98 but most don't sell parts for the other model Mausers.

Many thanks

Idared,

Have you checked Numrich? They seem to carry everything. You can even buy new 96 receivers still in brown paper wrapping.

Sarco is selling new 96 bolts. I believe they are stripped though.
