I have an early sako l46 in 9x33 that I need to remove the extractor from. Its similar to a mauser, but different. It sits in a milled slot in the bolt and I'm unsure how to remove it. Any thoughts?

Place bolt body up right in a vise. Place a small screw driver under the claw of the extractor. Push extractor away from the bolt body much like a mauser except that the small extractor of the early Sako has a small protrussion underneath the extractor. It will take about 1/16 inch to raise the extractor to clear the bolt. Now try to slide the extractor forward very carefully. It should come out.
