Anyone using or have a chance to examine Ted Blackburn & Joseph Smithsons new QD Scope mounting system? What are your thoughts?I understand they are currently being used on rifles up to the 505 gibs range w/o problems.

It's been 3 months since I first asked about the Blackburn & Smithson QD mounts and I'd like to give this question one more try......

If you give it a little more time, Mark Jackson (N'gagi) will hopefully post some information on this system. He is having a custom Mauser 98 built into a .458 Win Mag and he will be using this system. In fact, I believe his rifle is with Blackburn & Smithson right now.

We saw this system at the SCI show in February and we were both pretty impressed.

Thanks for the heads up. I have not had the chance to see these new mounts yet but, I have spoke to Ted about them. They sound very promissing.
