Here's a few that I've heard mentioned

Question:
What stripper do you use on those gloss stocks.

Choices:
Brownells Certistrip
Permetex Gasket Remover
JASCO Paint & Epoxy stripper
Strip-Eze

None of the above; I use Xylene. I use it for everything; so good it is banned in California. It will melt anything, including your liver.
And I have gallons of it for my WW2 Jeep restorations. Paint thinner.

Another method of getting more performance from the various strippers is to slather the stock with as much stripper as possible and wrap in Saran Wrap. Keeps those juicy volatiles from crowding the atmosphere too soon. Leave it wrapped for a while. Mow the lawn, tie your shoes, give it time.
Luck,
Stephen
