I'm building a custom on a CZ550 Magnum and I want to replace the trigger with the AHR unit. I also want a 3 position safety mounted on the shroud. Who makes this besides AHR (for $250)?

Thos. M. Burgess in Montana makes one I believe. I think he even mentioned something about the triggers too. I am not sure his cost on the safety, but if you have ever seen his work you know it doesn't get any better. He posts here as systeme98. I'll see if I can find out some more for you.

Jim Wisner (poster jwisner) also is completeing a run of the safeties. I do not know if he makes a replacement trigger. What do you not like about the CZ trigger?

The AHR trigger moves the trigger face way to the back of the trigger guard. It keeps your knuckle from hitting the bolt handle with a hard recoiling gun(.600OK). The bolt handle will be bent straight and the knob filled in on this rifle.

Try jwisner@quik.com . His safety includes a new cocking piece as CZ cocking pieces will not work in a M98 shroud without effort. It also includes a blank to fill the gap in the metal after you remove the safety rocker in the CZ trigger asembly. About $220 USD. He also is making some Rigby floorplates for the CZ triggerguard to improve capacity. As for triggers, I will need to try my new stock to decide about trigger position.

P.S.: I don't have a piece of his company; I just like what he and some others here produce.
