Does anyone know of a maker that contours to the original Jeffery contour? The double taper found on their 404 Jeff.

I can turn my own contours, but I can't in this case. So I am turning to the manufacturers for this.

Phil I just found them and drafted a to scale drawing. Thank you. I guess I can send that print for duplication.

To my knowledge Walther does not have this profile as a standard, but they can copy anything you give them drawings for. So can Krieger and Pac Nor and others.

If you can point to those Jeffery barrel dimensions it would be much appreciated! I love that barrel profile and would like to have a couple made. Thanks very much.

Ryan I can do that, Phil gave measurements on 24 hour campfires, and I drew it up full scale. PacNor will have the contour, it's named Jeffery 1905 404. I'm sending it out tomorrow.

Wow, there is almost no taper for the last 10 inches of barrel(.002" per inch).

It does look sexy...

Adam and Phil - much appreciated! I wish this original "DNA" were more readily accessible. Stock profiles, barrel contours, etc.

Pac Nor will have the contour tomorrow, since the contour isn't a wild tangent filled one there isn't any extra fees with the custom contour.
