I'm not sure I like the skeletonized bolt stop. I prefer the kind with a spring. Looks good, make that great. Aut vincere aut mori

Looks pretty decent! Apparently you're not using a housing trigger? Why the safety lever on L. side? Not an agrument, just that us old farts are soooo used to the lever on the R. side

A right hand safety will be standard unless otherwise specified. I just happend to have a couple dozen of the Lh ones handy so that's the one that got screwed into the bolt. I'm convinced the LH lever is more ergonomic for engaugement the thunb and index finger are used, there's just more power there when you anchor your index finger on the RH side of the safety and pull back with the thumb, it feels better. Some of the PHs' say they would rather have the LH style, they say it's quicker to dissengauge. Stuart/timan

I'm afraid I'd never disengage 30 years of muscle memory. Does the Sunny Hill fit your hole spacing or is a modification in order? ______________________________ "Truth is the daughter of time." Francis Bacon

Stuart, For what it's worth ... I have several (cheap) Mausers with safeties on the right and several (cheap) commercial Mausers with them on the left. Surprisingly, the safeties on the left are faster to operate. Again, your work is simply gorgeous! Congratulations on superb product. Steven, Yes there are trees in the Black Hills of South Dakota, an anchient sub species of ponderosa, according to the tree experts. For me they seem to work great in the wood stove, saves on the heat bill, which translates into carbide end mills and such. Stuart/timan
