I would like to borrow or rent one of these to check a rifle chambered by Jack Hamrick just prior to his current situation. The bolt of my son's rifle closes very tightly on a round, both commercial and my reloads. I want to be sure that the chamber is reamed correctly.

Please PM me about what you are willing to negotiate. I really appreciate the effort here, and don't want to pay for a gauge I will likely only use once.

Which 6.5x55 ? We've had discussions about the different dimensions on this forum in the past.The different European ones have now come to a standardized 6,5x55 SE.The Americans recently started to load the cartridge but used a 30-06 dimension case with a .473" body while the original European was and is .480" .When ordering a reamer specify which one you want !!
