Hello everybody. I've got one of the 1887 lever action 12 ga import shotguns and have been thinking of putting a rifled barrel on it. Is there anything special that I'd need to look out for when pulling the barrel? Also are the barrel threads the same as the Winchester 1887? Somewhere I read the barrel thread was 1.1 x 26. I don't know if that is correct or not. Or maybe thread the barrel for screw in chokes and get a rifled tube and others? I've seen a couple places that have reamers and taps for rent. Which one of the choke tube styles would I be more likely to find aftermarket tubes for? TIA for any light you could shed on the subject. | ||
