I just aquired a model 43 winchester , in 22K-Hornet. Its in quite good shape the stock has just a few nicks, and the action is quite nice. I don't know much about the model 43. I was wonder ing if a guy can get lucky and find a factory take off barrel in the origional hornet , or mabye .218 BEE. Nothing wrong with the K hornest, but an origional chambering and barrel would add value, and still be fun ! Are the barrel threaded in ? or pressed ? Any info would be helpfull thanks...tj3006 freedom1st

They are nice little rifles. Also chambered in 25/20 and 32/20. Barrels are threaded.
