Gentlemen:

Thinking of further reducing weight of rifle.

Is anyone aware of a 'smith who will do a nice job spiral fluting a stainless bolt?

Thanks,

Bob

+I got one back from Kampield in about a week. He did a beautiful job and was very reasonable.

There should be an email address and phone number.

that was some pretty neat loking fluting! Has anyone had a barrel spiral fluted? If so, do the barrels shoot ok afterwards? Does he match the fluting to the twist?

Marc,
I pretty sure he can as it is all CNC controlled. I believe that we went through the spiral fluting before. I believe that a barrel maker is claiming a patent and raising a little hell about it. I am most impressed with the engraving. Jim, that is what you are looking for.

I've been reading some very good reports about Karl's work from guys who have work done by him.
Never ever heard anything bad.
