Does anyone know if these are still available? Getting a Timney trigger installed in a German Mark V that has safety as part of the old trigger (instead of on the bolt.)

Thanks!

The trigger is not the issue.

Getting the new sleeve, safety unit and cocking piece, may be.

PLUS and this is the big PLUS, then you need to modify your bolt handle for the new safety lever to pivot forward and lock the bolt handle.

Gad, the last one I did was about 1992.

Call Weatherby and see what parts they will sell you, if not you will have to got to a service center who can buy those parts from the factory.

My 'smith is working on getting a Mark V "Bolt shroud safety conversion" kit. Already replaced broken cocking piece and installed Timney trigger that fit the holes correctly. Thanks all 'round.

Levi at Lohman Gunsmithing (Houston, TX) installed a new cocking piece and -- the trigger works just fine. No need to send it off to Weatherby for the bolt shroud safety conversion. Kept the Timney trigger just in case I change my mind down the road.
