I have a stainless classic in 7mm mag,stainless and synthetic stock.Is the bottom metal 1 0r 2 peice?I am ordering a synthetic stock.Is there any benift to 1 peice?Now would be the time to change it out to a Williams if there is.Is the Williams set up to handle aftermarket triggers,Rifle Basix etc. ? Stock will be Mcmillan.

Winchester never converted the Stainless Classics to the one-piece bottom metal, as far as I know, and I have seen several very late production versions, and even own one. But, if you are gonna do the McMillan thing, this is the time to put on the Williams one-piece style, if you like. Just order your new stock for whichever style you are going to use.
