So can this be reasonably done? I have a 300WM in a Super Grade that I will never use as a 300WM. Is it feasible to do a 500J on his rifle with just barrel, action work and a strengthening of the current stock??

Merry Christmas,
Mark.

Why not look at a 50 B&M, 500 MDM or the 500 B&M. All of these work easily in a model 70.

Sure it can be done.. Pretty thin barrel tenon Btw, but sure it can be done.. Better to start with a 30.06
The bm and mdm will be easier to make feed..

The 500 Accrel was designed to be a homage to and modern reimagining of the 500 Jeffery.. And easier to fit and feed in a true 3.35 length mag

The name is a pet peeve of mine.. And I am really not trying to sound superior..
Just trying to be helpful.. It is a Jeffery's (singular possessive) not Jeffries (plural of Jeffery, not possessive) or jefferies'..
