Just saw ad on campfire forum for a mexican action in a mcmillian sako stock. obviously you would need sako bottom metal, unless its a blind magazine, but what else would be involved other than a gob of bedding material?

No matter where you go or what you do there you are! Yes tis true and tis pity but pity tis, tis true.

Mcmillian used to offer their "Sako Classic" stock inletted for mausers. With mauser inletting it would use the standard mauser bottom metal.

I believe it is still available, although it may no longer be a catalog item.

I was speaking of the McMillian stocks that are inletted for standard Mauser 98 actions. If it was inletted for the Mexican it would use Mexican bottom metal.
