Just saw ad on campfire forum for a mexican action in a mcmillian sako stock. obviously you would need sako bottom metal, unless its a blind magazine, but what else would be involved other than a gob of bedding material? No matter where you go or what you do there you are! Yes tis true and tis pity but pity tis, tis true. | ||

Mcmillian used to offer their "Sako Classic" stock inletted for mausers. With mauser inletting it would use the standard mauser bottom metal. I believe it is still available, although it may no longer be a catalog item. Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. I was speaking of the McMillian stocks that are inletted for standard Mauser 98 actions. If it was inletted for the Mexican it would use Mexican bottom metal.
