Drove by their operation in Branford CT today, stopped in and got brochure. Seem to be reasonably priced $140 for CrMoly 4140 blanks, $20 to thread and $35 to chamber.

Anyone care to tell me how they shoot?

Their barrels are often used in AR-15's. I have one in my High Power rifle (Now there's a joke - an AR-15 is classed as a "high power" for competition). It shoots just fine. When I wear it out I will go to a Krieger next. Krieger's are a lot easier to clean and I am a lazy assed no account when it comes to cleaning rifles.

Cooper Arms and Bulberry use them and cannot say enough good about them.

Ive not tried one, but according to the Brownells catalog their factory grade bbls are air gaged to the same tolerances as a Douglas premium. Could be a great value if that is true.

I had a similiar experience to JCN.

The barrel on my AR15 Service Rifle prior to the current LW barrel was a Wilson CM.

Shot less than an inch @ 100 from the bench with carry handle mounted scope in testing.

This is good until you consider that some of these rifles will shoot half of that.

Fouling was noticeable but not excessive and yes the barrel was properly broken in.

The barrel was replaced @ 4458 rounds when to me the accuracy fell off drastically.

I think Wilson barrels are a good product, but there are some bad ones out there.

With a higher end barrel you are paying for quality control and attention to detail.

You virtually never hear of a defective barrel from Krieger et al, you do hear Wilson stories.

Just my experience based on on 1 example.

good luck

I'm not certain of this but, I heard that the blanks sold by Gun Parts corp. are Wilson.

Yes I have one on my Pre 64 M 70 in 300 Win Mag. It is one of my better shooting guns.
