A friend is shooting lots of CCI CB longs. He ran a few through a Marlin Model 60. It did move the breech block a bit but, of course did not function. To further the ridiculious nature of this pursuit I located a new breech block and milled off about 40% of the steel. He is working on a weaker action spring. Anyone ever got something like this to function??

My Winchester Model 74(semi-auto),in 22Short,will readily digest CB's.

I was working up a 10/22 to function with CBs...

Looking into getting the Voltquartsen .22 Short bolt/spring or just the spring tuned for light loads but never got past the planning stage... Too many other projects on the bench.

I think I'll hold out for an AMT Lightning when I locate one- plan on making a mini-sniper (with CB capabilties).

You might also want to look into a barrel with 1 in 20 twist to stabilize the CB bullet a bit more...
