ok i have 2 blackhawks a single six and a 30 carbine.My question a member told me of dragoon frame as alt to bisley.Well i was thinking of putting dragoon gripframe on 30 carbine but the gripframe says it fits 44. I'm wondering how much difference between a 44 frame and a 30 carb frame?????

You can interchange any of the Ruger "New Model" grip frames. XR3-RED, the new XR3 frames from the new smaller Vaquero, Bisley or Super Blackhawk (longer grip frame, squared trigger guard that like Elmer Keith you are calling a Dragoon), even the grip frames from single sixes will interchange onto Blackhawks without problems.
