I have a Ruger Blackhawk 357/9mm combo that I want to convert to 357/44 B&D. I plan on using the 9mm cylinder for this. Does anyone have any experience with this conversion? I saw on Lee Martin's www.singleactions.com that he has done this. I was just looking for other opinions or any other comments Mr. Martin has that aren't in his article. We have a 357/44 reamer that was bought to rechamber a Desert Eagle (major PITA) that we are planning on using. I know the revolver reamer is different but I believe you can use a pistol reamer for a revolver just not the other way around. Please correct me if I am wrong here. Jason

Hey Jason, Did he happen to mention what he did to keep the cylinder from "binding" as the cylinder full was progressively fired? I've had no experience at all with a 357/44B&D in a "revolver", but I do know once you get it loaded toward the MAX end, the slight case expansion(lengthening) has the potential to create a problem. So, it is just curiosity on my part as to how this will be addressed so you can take full advantage of the cartridges potential.

If you follow the link I posted he has an article on his site about 357/44 conversions. He didn't seem to have a problem. Jason
