I'm not at all wanting to work on my handgun.... so looking for someone that likes it! I have a Smith & Wesson M-17-3 .22 LR six shot. I bought it used and the former owner had a fabulous trigger job done.....it was so light that it was actually borderline dangerous....pull was less than 1/2 pound! Long story short.....the gun now fails to fire as squeezing the trigger fails to hold the transfer bar in place and it just started happening. It fires maybe once in six tries in single action mode but double action fires all the time. I assume parts will be required but don't know the internals of this revolver and don't want to learn....lazy?....maybe but that's the way it is!
