I think he has to gain 10" from his bottomed out sight to end up at 2". Substitute 10" for the 2".

Ah! Found it. According to the chart I need a change of some .09" to fix the problem. Thanx!

Thanks for the correction.
7 years ago I took an IQ test for a genetics research project and got top 1% reading compreshension and top .1% applied math.

Upon re reading the question, I think I need to be re-tested.
I am beset with senior moments.
The POI is 10" off, not 2".

38 years ago i put a tall front sight on a rifle fitted with the williams receiver sight. Worked really good from the bench, but the front bead was high enough that i couldn't find the dot if in a hurry or in fading light or drizzle. For what it's worth....
