HELP, is there a width diff. in the M1913 accessory rail and the Weaver/Picatinny?
I know that Weaver/Picatinny/AR-15 rings will fit on my CZ550 Safari Mag in .416 Rigby, because I have experimented with them.

What I am wondering is if Barrett's Adjustable Scope Rings that are designed to fit the M1913 rail, would also fit on the CZ action????? bewildered IF SO, THEN, I could adjust them for longer range shooting!!!

Since the Barrett .416 is being released, and I already have Rigby dies, and with 400 grain LR bullets with a .943 BC being available soon; I am thinking about building a Quick Twist .416 Rigby on my CZ to play with!!! thumb

The terms Picatinny and 1913 are interchangeable when referring to scope bases...they are the same product.

Picatinny and M1913 are the same.

Standard and Weaver are the same.

From what I have seen, the width is very close. It is the shape of the beveled edges and the grooves that is different.

It looks like I need to just order the rings and see if the bevels on the edges of the rings and the groove on the receiver work together. boohoo
