Is Cooper and or Dakota Rifles really worth the extra money?

There was a rather long thread on this forum re: Dakota and opinions varied.

I have only been exposed to tow of them. My friend and I both have Dakota Safari grade rifles in .375H&H. We both are very pleased with our rifles.

Randy,

I can't afford either, so this is just based on what I read about Cooper and what I see their prices listed at. I would say that if you want a custom/semi-custom rifle they are a good deal. iF you sit down and calculate the cost to have an action barreled, stocked, and the whole thing finished you are going to be up in the price range that you can get their rifles for.

of course I think that they are all single shot, which would play a factor in my personal decision to get one if I could afford them.

I can't afford Dakota so don't even let myself fantasize. :-)
