98 Mauser bedding question

How much, if any, of the barrel shank do you bed on a sporter barrel?

I have been bedding about 1 to 2 inches. Wondering what other do.

I typically bed the same as you one to two inches of barrel shank.

Due to the small bearing service front of the forward action screw I bed about 2" of the barrel.

As usual just my $.02

anywhere from none to two inches....

Some of my barrels float all the way to the receiver and shoot quite well that way!
