I have a complete stockmaker's carving set with maple or birch handles; the only identifying marks are "GERMANY"; initials that are so stylized as to be illegible; and the profile of a slothead woodscrew. Do any of you guys know what mfg they are? Since Germany is not specified east or west they may be pre-WWII. Does the screw logo ring a bell with anyone? Thanks for any info... | ||

I believe they are imported by Frank Mittermeier and are manufactured by this company web page . I think Brownells used to sell some Mittermeier tools. | |||
