Has anyone else run across one of these? This is the first one I've seen with the safety lock holder dovetailed into the rear tang and no screw.

It has an early ser.# W16XX.

I don't think so CRUSHER. The rifle is a previously unaltered DP rifle.

I'm not sure, but, I think it's just an early version and this little feature was done away with for something a little easier to manufacture.

could be but seems a long way around to get there very cool at any rate. the other way is much easyer to deal with.
