I've got a couple of LH long actions on order. I am wondering whether MRC's drop box floorplate thing from a MRC PH action will fit the long action. What I'd like to have is a 458 Lott with a 4 or 5 round magazine capacity.

Henry, is it for sure that they are going to offer a drop box? I know that it was suggested by a great number of people but I thought they were just considering it as an option. I do hope they do.

My MRC long action takes 4 .375 H&H cartridges down.

As for the PH, the last I was told was that the design perameters called for 4 Rigby cases in the magazine. It's not a drop box per se, they describe it as a belly floor plate or some such. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm hoping for an announcement of a drop box to take 4 .505 Gibbs on that action.

4 rigby's means 4 470 mbogo's...
