I have 2 Canjar Mauser triggers marked M-3, standard marking for Canjar Mauser triggers with narrow trigger shoe, one older than the other; no evidence of being monkeyed with or disassembled by Bubba. Note the difference in the height of the sears. Is it normal for older triggers to have a taller sear. For the record, I have not function tested the taller trigger yet.

The taller sear suits the military cocking piece, i.e. the v bottom one vs the flat bottom commercial. Being taller it stops the trigger resetting when fired.

Metal, thanks for the reply. So next question. Is the taller sear limited to military CP only or can it be used with a commercial CP without problems.

Not sure on that but probably not ideal.
