Need a recommendation for blueing

I've finally finished my end of a little Martini Cadet project (17 Ackley Bee) that took far too long and the last hurdle is getting the metal blued. I don't have anyone in the immediate area that does it anymore and I'd like a few recommendation for someone to contact for a quality job. I've got the metal down to a 600 grit finish already, and if need be can polish it out myself to the level needed. All I need is someone to drop it in a tank for a bit. Don't want to spend a whole lot, so I think a hot salts blue would be adequate (I hope).

Oh, and if you have any ideas about the 'perfect elk rifle' check out my post in medium bores and give me your 2 cents.

Thanks!

Hmm, not much interest in metal finishing tonight. Well I started polishing the parts, and it looks as though I might need a gunsmith to do a little more work on the receiver. There's some fine 'orange peel' type finish in the metal.

Any recommendations, or offers?

Just looking for a quality job at a fair price I guess.

Matt, I use a guy here in Prescott named Jim Kucia at JAK industries. He does excellent work, charges a fair price and doesn't take forever to do a job. He specializes in rust blue. Give him a call and maybe you can work something out.

Thanks guys for both recommendations. I'm starting to think that after all the work I've done to this rifle I should really have the bluing done 'right', and I was actually thinking of a good, deep, rust blue. I'll call the feller in AZ and see what he's got to offer.

Thanks again.
