Feed rails on Sako in 458 win

I have a Sako 65 (?) action with a Douglas barrel in 458 win. When I work the action slowly, it feeds a round, goes boom, everybody has a good time. When I pretend I'm in a hurry and cycle the bolt rapidly, the cartridge angles too far to the opposite side and the nose of the bullet jams against the rear of the barrel. I guess I need to work on (smart man would get someone who knows what they are doing, but that leaves me out) the feed rails. Any advice other than go REAL slow and lock up the dremel before starting? Who do you recomend in the N Florida area that might be able to do this? Any idea as to prices for this kind of work?

Does the bullet hit the lower part of the barrel? In this case, the magazine/elevator spring could be too weak.

No, the nose of the right bullet hits the left side and the nose of the left bullet hits the right side. Barrels are cheaper than actions, maybe I should try to relieve the corner on the back of the barrel?

What weight bullets are you using?
I had a CZ550 that did that with 350g RN! The 400g barnes & 500g RN Hornady fed perfect. In mine the shorter cart. was not staying down between the rails long enough, if that makes any sense?

500 grain hornady soft point round nose. When cycled slowly, the round seems to pop free and have time to line up with the chamber. But when cycled rapidly, it seems the round comes free of the mag (feed rails?) at such an angle it jams the nose against the opposite side of the opening on the rear of the chamber. Maybe the rear of cartridge is staying under feed rail too long while being pushed forward, causing it to angle to the opposite side? Fun boomer, but definitely not a dangerous game rifle in this condition.
Maybe as tsturm says, cartridge is short? 458 win mag does leave some room in mag well. Do I see a Lott in my future? Or have this barrel put on the vz24 mauser for a "heavy scout"?
