Is it worth the expense to replace the factory trigger on a new Winchester 70 action, with a Timney for example, or can the factory trigger be tweeked so that it's as acceptable as the Timney? Winchester 70 triggers can be tuned quite easily. Why is everyone in such a hurry to replace good factory triggers? _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. Thanks Westpac. FYI, I'm not in a hurry to replace the trigger. On this particular rifle I want to use the factory trigger. I was just wondering what others thought, since I don't have a lot of experience with tweeked Winchester triggers. BTW, the trigger weight and crispness is pretty good now, but I would like for it to be some better. I haven't tried adjusting it yet. Maybe soon. Thanks again. Like Remington's factory triggers, Winchester's triggers are a good solid trigger that can be made to break as clean as any aftermarket in it's class. This does require a good working knowledge of the sear/safety association. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.
