Tell him to slap the shit out of him and try to escape to the side of good sense.

NO way should you you grinding compound to smooth bolt motion. It's WAY too aggresive and non selective.

Jack thanks for responding, I went back amd pull several of your post from here and HA, and finaly got him to set down and read them, at lest he has decided to leave the compound alone.
