OK, now, on the left side of the shroud, there is a little silver button to push to release, and screw out the firing pin. My PH just wrote me, and lost his "button" and spring. Is such a thing available? Pre 64 M 70 or will newered ones work as well? Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.

Jim Wisner can probably get you fixed-up right away. Take a look here: http://www.wisnersinc.com/explodedviews/Winc70_pre64.htm ______________________________ "Truth is the daughter of time." Francis Bacon

That "button" would be your sleeve lock. I wouldn't be surprised if Jim isn't making those...They're not the easiest part in the world to machine. The factory originals are either a MIM'd part or investment casted...can't remember which. Brownells maybe where you'd want to look. Williams Machine Works

Terry Be careful if you intend to ship that part out of the U.S. Many countries consider any gun part the same as a whole firearm. Ray Arizona Mountains
