Guys, I just picked up a set of bases and QD 30 mm rings and have to say, this is the most rock solid mounting system I have ever seen. Have not had a chance to go to the range to check for repeatability yet but I see no reason to doubt their claims.
I was told they make bases for over 30 rifles so I will try to get some pictures up tonite.

A very well engineered and carefully made mount but unfortunately bulky and, IMO, only suitable for big scopes.

I have to agree that they are big and bulky but I have not seen the standard bases for a hunting rifle. Here are a couple of pictures
