Guys,
What is a good source for small parts for the Savage/Stevens line of rifles? Things like extractors, bolt-heads, bolt handles, barrel nuts, barrel wrenches?
Cheers...

Fred and Lisa at SSS are great, but once in a while they get backlogged on orders (and communication).

You might also try www.savageparts.com. HTH, Dutch.

Make sure whom ever sends you parts has an export license. Since 911 gun parts are under much more scruteny(sp). Even to our allies.

Thanks guys ... Lisa responded that they can ship parts but not barrels and actions ... which is perfect as I'm after a barrel wrench and tactical bolt only at this stage!
I think on your side of the pond its only orders above US$100 that require export licenses?? Ridiculous that you cant export parts that require no licence at both the sending and receiving side.
Cheers...
