Would the Husky FN 98 action triggerguard assembly inlet on a pre-inlet stock be like the Mark X? Smiler

Well I have never seen a Husky FN. I have used MKX inletted stocks for an FN action. If the Husky is a normal bottom metal it should be real close.

As usual just my $.02

The triggerguard only has about 1/8" of metal in front of the front guard screw and left a pretty good gap on a regualar 98 mauser stock.

I noticed on a J9 I have that they had the same distance in front of the guard screw. I figured that it was a commercial type of bottom metal that was the difference and the Mark X should be the same size.

The bottom metal on my Husqvarna '98s and the Mark X drop into the Hogue stock the same. The military such as a VZ24 and Argentine 1909 is different, with a longer tang in front of the front guard screw. The Hogue stock will work though, by just removing some rubber.
