Gents! I have just bedded and released the action and barrel from the mcmillan stock. The question is if I should make another bedding point under the barrel recoil lug? As of now it is bedded under the tang and from the magazine box and forward until the barrel tapers out. It is a .375HH in a CZ-express stock, in which I had to use the dremel quite a lot to correct the errors made by McMillan in the alignment of the barrel channel and the position of the barrel recoil lug. Therefore it is a bit of space lacking under the barrel. Shall I fill this space with epoxi to make the forestock stiffer? Sincerely Daniel

You should bed the recoil lug...if you have dremeled the material around it...the lug will be useless until it is bedded. ****************************************************************** R. Lee Ermey: "The deadliest weapon in the world is a Marine and his rifle." ****************************************************************** We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! You do not need to bed UNDER the recoil lug. Bed behind it.
