Wow, I would think that even dishonest people would have the sense not to leave out something that is clearly seen in the pictures. This guy isn't the brightest bulb on the tree.

I also think some of these boneheads should look up the words Patina and Rust and see if they can figure out what's what on these pitted up hunks of crap. If there was a way to shove the word Patina up some gun prevaricators A$$ I would sure give it a try. I can't wait to see one say " slightly flaking Patina." Or "some Patina pits below the wood line."

That gun was likely sold new with rust brown finish. That was the fashion on English guns of the day.

Hey Jeffe,

Look at this my way, say decorate the gun with a frame and sell it to an Interier Decorator for some sole trying to impress his buddies. I have made up these with shadow boxes with the gun wired to a nice color background. Buy for $335 and sell for $770, you can do well on this 1% profit. Ha Ha
