Trying to remove the sights from a Remington 700. Back sights came off fine by removing the screws, the front sight is a different story. When I removed the screw it didn't looses up a bit. I assume it needs to be nugged, bumped, pushed one way or the other. Please tell me the best way to remove this.
Thanks

The front sight has two screws holding it. You must remove the front bead from the dovetail to access the second screw.
