It is a 9.3X64 necked up to 375. It also features a 40 degree shoulder with minimum body taper so I guess I should really have said "9.5X64 Imp.". Wink

I'll admit that some of the rifles especially are just satisfying the compulsion. That being said, I have found something to like about all of them.

22rf (many, don't tell my wife how many!)
223 (sporters and black rifles)
6.5X55
270
7mm Mag
30wcf
30/06
338
45 Colt
45/70 (Modern Marlin & Rolling Block)

Scatter guns
12 guage(s)

Handguns
22rf
38 special
357 magnum
45acp
45 Colt

It seems that upon reflection that I have profound weaknesses for different calibers. I have 545 Colts, three 12 guages and a pile of .22's. Isn't this what we all have a tendency to do?

Of them all there are a few very special ones. The Browning BPS was a gift from my father in law shortly before he passed away. I am still working myself up to shoot it. One of the 270's was a pawn shop bargain for 199.00 that shoots less than 1" groups with a junk stock. The 30/06 is my Tikka and it is an absolute "death ray" for anything with four legs.

Some special, some very plain, but all very fun.

Hah!

Nobody listed single shot .22 short derringers or a 9mm, rimfire, bolt-action shotgun (inherited from my grandpa and my great-grandpa).

Makes me happy seeing all the 10mm on this post. Also, though I don't have one yet, I saw at least one .41 Mag.

I have a whole bunch of guns w/ duplicates in 12 gauge, 20 gauge, .22, .30-06, .375H&H and .45-70. In pistols, dup's are in .22, .357, 9mm, and .45LC.

I shoot all the long guns, but mostly use 4 of the 12 gauges, the 10 gauge, a 20/28 gauge combo gun, one of the .22's, the .243, the .300RUM, one of the .375H&H's, one of the .45-70's. I also shoot all the handguns, but actually take out the .38 special, the 10mm, the .45ACP, and two of the .45LC's.
