Just returned from a day at the range.Very disappointed in the action and the trigger on my wal-mart special Model 94 AE must be a 30 lb. trigger and very stiff rough action. I cleaned this sucker thoroughly and oiled it well. Even after two boxes of shells it's not much better. I'm willing to dissassemble it and stone everything but having never done it, figured you guys might persuade me in one direction or the other. Any drop in super improved parts available for these? Thanks, Jim.......

Both Wolfe's "Gunsmithing Tips And Projects" and the NRA "Gunsmithing Guide" have articles on slicking up lever actions. I found them both very helpful. - Dan

I love my well worn beatup old M94 top eject, it smooth, fast, and accurate. Paid $100 for it.
