Hello All,
I thought that i was certain as to which caliber to build my rifle on. I had posted sometime back about building a .35 Whelen out of my Enfield '17 (Remington made it). Now I have just read about people making those into 458 Winchesters and 505 Gibbs.

What are my SAFE limitations to build this action into? Will it really take the 458, or a 375 H&H?????

Please help, someone must have experience with these actions.

you can build nearly ANYTHING off that action, larger than a 30-06 case
