A buddy of mine leaned an unloaded Rossi Coach Gun against the porch at his rural home ... and it fell over. Landed right side on a rock leaving a small dent on the outside of the right tube about 7" from the open breech. Is visible on the inside. I see that Brownells sells a dent remover for 12 gauge barrels but is a real investment! Questions: 1) What might it cost to have the dent removed by a gunsmith? 2) Worth doing for such an inexpensive SG or is it time that the beast become a wall hanger? 3) Who does such work? Thanks guys! Mike -------------- DRSS, Womper's Club, NRA Life Member/Charter Member NRA Golden Eagles ... Knifemaker, http://www.mstarling.com

I raise dents like that for $40, using a hydraulic dent raiser. Shipping will cost close to double that so I'd look for someone closer. A simple job for any competent gunsmith. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!
