I have recently purchased a Remington 12 ga., steel barrel, Model 1900 and I am looking to find who may have replacement parts such as springs, firing pins, etc.

I also would like recommendations for 'smiths' who work on these shotguns who can bring them back into spec.

Thank you for your time.

Cheers,

Sam

One of the main changes detween the 1894 and 1900 actions are the firing pins/ hammers.
You will find also two different types of trigger springs, due to a change later in production.
The hammer (main) springs are different between the extractor and ejector actions.
As well as two different types of forearm iron due to the extactor and ejector versions.
Almost all of the rest of the internal parts are the same.

We make some of the internal springs.
I also picked up a large box of spare parts last year for these guns.
